Monty the Painter

Could not recommend Monty and his team highly enough. From the very reasonable quote, to the preparation, meticulous painting work and thorough clean-up after completion, everything was seamless. Monty is such a lovely - and hilarious bloke! - but serious about his trade! The team promptly arrived each day and were really conscious of the fact that we were living in our home whilst work was in progress; they were always thoughtful and accommodating. Monty offered advice and suggestions that were very helpful, and he went above and beyond to source different things for us via his own contacts, mostly not even related to the painting! Monty returned a week after the job finished to make sure we (and he!) were happy with the finished work. He left us supplies of the colours we used should we need them in the future and invited us to call him at any time if we needed anything.

A great experience. His quote was extremely reasonable compared to a few others I received. He and his team were very professional and great characters. He made a huge effort to clean up afterwards and came back a week later to make sure everything was good. It was. I would highly recommend Monty and his team.

We highly recommend Monty. Our job involved the painting of all interior walls and ceilings (in a 4 bedroom house) as well as the removal and patching of recessed wall features. Monty provided a highly competitive quote and start to finish was brilliant to deal with. We are delighted with the quality of the painting and how he fixed the holes in the walls. Due to work commitments we were unable to be in the house during the painting process. However, we were confident and comfortable leaving Monty and his team with keys. He is a man of high integrity. Monty was diligent in making sure we were 100% happy with the whole job. Monty went above and beyond - providing options and guidance to help us increase the value of our 'interior facelift'. This practical advice (including the right order to complete tasks) was invaluable for us. He also has a great network of other tradespeople that he was able to coordinate with on our job (including he coordinated the instillation of LED lights and fans throughout the house). Additionally, Monty was able to source fans and lights for us. Thank you Monty for the 5 star service!
