Bricks are a fantastically useful building tool and they also look great. However, over time, bricks can become dirty, stained or have debris clinging to them (especially just after building when cement can stick to the face of the brick). The best way to get rid of these is to have your bricks professionally pressure cleaned.

The process for cleaning bricks is done in three stages. First, a scraper and wire brush is used to remove any larger debris such as pieces of cement. The bricks are then washed using an acid solution. It is important that the acid is not too strong or left on the bricks for too long otherwise discolouration can occur. Once the first two steps are completed, the bricks are then pressure cleaned. The pressure cleaning needs to be done at a strength that cleans the bricks without blowing out the mortar joints in the bricks (or essentially, removing the mortar). The pressure cleaning removes all traces of dirt and brings your bricks back to an as new condition.
