About Us

Ultimate Floors “About Us”…won’t blab on about how good we think we are, we’ll let you score us on that. However you will find a bit on our background, what makes our approach different, and what we stand for. Ultimate Floors have been seen as a leader and innovator within the Flooring Industry in Queensland for quite some time. The history dates back to mid 1980′s when Adam Heaton entered the flooring industry. As a young textile (carpets) and resilient (vinyls) flooring apprentice, enthusiasm took hold and the journey begun. Apprenticeship completed, time to hone and grow the knowledge base gained had come. Being involved in some of the largest hospital and commercial projects Queensland, the general construction process inventory gained working in conjunction with project management, concrete and building trades is where clients who have or choose to work with can draw from Ultimate Floors real world experience. Floor preparation evolved simply from service providers at the time struggled to deliver appropriate floor preparation methods and has extended to a lot of current operators. Knowing what can be achieved and how to accomplish that task, doesn’t come by learning from a Google search. Knowing the relevant Australian Standard is one thing, delivering those minimal requirements is getting harder as the years tick by. Unfortunately the concrete grinding – floor preparation market is flooded with operators who stem from various back grounds, claim to be experts…yet have little in-depth flooring industry knowledge bringing the quality of results down. We all look for value, but is it worth selecting on a dollar figure while not understanding what is being provided.
